Skyline Apartment REIT Acquires 4th Property in Winnipeg, MB

On October 5th, 2020, Skyline Apartment REIT announced its fourth property acquisition in the city of Winnipeg, MB.

Lady Joyce Apartments is located at 2390 McPhillips Street in Winnipeg. The total purchase price for the property was $19.4M.

The property comprises 90 residential suites and has a mix of one and two-bedroom units. Lady Joyce Apartments is located in the Garden City neighbourhood in north Winnipeg, with all essential services conveniently nearby, such as grocery stores, cafes, and schools. It offers upscale open-concept suites with high-end finishes, private balconies, and in-suite laundry, and the property features an on-site fitness centre.

“We were warmly welcomed to the city of Winnipeg in 2019 and we are excited to be expanding our presence with the purchase of Lady Joyce Apartments,” said Matthew Organ, President of Skyline Apartment REIT.

“Our first three purchases in the city were all part of a property portfolio acquired in April 2019. For more than a year, we have been providing great places to call home for more than 300 families in the city, and we are pleased to be providing 90 additional luxurious living spaces with the addition of Lady Joyce Apartments.”
