Maria Duckett

Maria provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Skyline Apartment REIT, Skyline Industrial REIT, and Skyline Retail REIT. She is responsible for the overall performance and profitability of hundreds of rental housing properties and millions of square feet of industrial and retail space Canada-wide. With oversight of financial planning and budgeting, project management, and organizational leadership, Maria drives asset performance to maximize investor value while ensuring an exceptional experience for all Skyline tenants.

Maria began her career at Skyline in 2007, simultaneously taking on HR management tasks and lending support to Skyline’s operations team. As the organization grew, her role expanded to multi-residential business operations, followed by leadership of Skyline’s expanding industrial and retail portfolios, before her appointment as Vice President, National Property Operations.

Maria is passionate about empowering her team and remains directly involved in their training procedures, having helped develop many training programs for Skyline’s property management staff. She recognizes the importance of staying connected within the ever-innovative Canadian multi-residential, industrial, and retail real estate industries, and the busy pace of her role is one of her favourite parts of her career.
